With its 60th anniversary coming up, Stronghold Insurance Company, Inc. gifted 400 backpacks and 400 pairs of slippers to the children of Talakag, Bukidnon on August 3, 2019. The community outreach program was made possible with the assistance of the Talakag Church on the Solid Rock and Stronghold’s Cagayan de Oro Regional Office. The CSR activity is still part of the ongoing celebration of the company’s upcoming 60th anniversary on March 2020. As Mrs. Pilarcita Pearson, Vice President of Stronghold, said in her speech, “We [Stronghold] have received many blessings; and this time, it is our mission to give back to the community.” It has been Stronghold’s goal ever since the 1-year countdown to its anniversary to help as many communities as possible in any way through sharing the blessings that the organization has been receiving throughout the years. Mrs. Pearson also added that just how slippers leave footprints, Stronghold Insurance Company, Inc. wishes that humble gifts such as theirs will also leave footprints in the lives of the children who benefited from the activity.
