Almost like an early Christmas gift, the residents of Barangay Cuta, Batangas City received free medical and dental attention through a CSR activity by Stronghold Insurance Company, Inc. on September 6, 2019. The Medical and Dental Mission, which benefitted nearly 200 residents of the barangay, was made possible with the help and cooperation of the volunteer doctors and nurses from Batangas Medical Center, headed by Medical Center Chief Ramoncito Magnaye; Batangas City Mayor Beverly Rose Dimacuha; and Cuta Barangay Chairman Ramil Caseda. The activity is just one of the numerous CSR projects of Stronghold Insurance in connection with its upcoming 60th anniversary on March next year. Mr. Nestor Liwanag Jr., First Vice President of Stronghold Insurance, talked about in his opening remarks how the company wouldn’t be the organization it is now without the presence itself of the people of the community. He added that hopefully, the company’s small efforts such as this Medical and Dental Mission will soon branch out to reach more people. By the same token, Stronghold Insurance’s Southern Tagalog Regional Office Manager Domingo Taeza VIII said in his speech that more than just an insurance company, they hope that being of service to others will be the best expression of their organization. Stronghold Insurance Company, Inc. hopes that through this Medical and Dental Mission, they were able to contribute to the peace of mind and smiles of the people in the community.
